Conference purpose and objective
The purpose of the Wood Coatings Technology Conference would be to provide a coatings technology conference that speaks to the basic chemistry, science, and technology behind the development, performance, andapplication of coatings, particularly wood coatings. It is our goal to present basic theory and science information that will;
- Improve understanding of the science as related to coatings for the coatings chemist and technologist
- Help further advance the science of coatings
- Provide a forum for discussion of new technologies and developments
The conference should also help those unfamiliar with thecoatings industry see the potential merits and opportunities of choosing acareer in a materials science field such as coatings and related areas.
Abstracts are being accepted pertaining to chemistry,application, and technology related to wood and wood coatings, environmentalregulations, and substrates. Please addressquestions and/or provide abstracts for consideration by March 15, 2012 to:
